The ketone body β-hydroxybutyrate(BHB) present in the interstitial fluid consistently permeates the enzyme layer on the CKM sensor probe, and oxidizes to generate an electrical signal. Subsequently, the sensor transmits this electrical signal to the receiver, and ultimately, our proprietary algorithm transforms the signal into measurable ketone levels. As a result, the SiBio CKM app is capable of streaming your real-time ketone level.

No. This product is not intended for medical purposes and is not designed to provide any medical advice. Please do not use this product as a substitute for medical equipment or medical consultation. There are two possible reasons:
1: The sensor applicator is not assembled or implanted correctly during the assembling or applying process, so the internal structure fails to grip the guiding needle.
2: The safety clip is pulled out before the applicator is ready to apply the sensor, which causes the internal structure fails to grip the guiding needle.
Solution: pull the guiding needle out by hand. Then scan the QR code to connect the sensor to the CKM app. If it is connected, this sensor can work normally. Otherwise please remove the sensor.
The SiBio CKM sensor is currently not recyclable. Please follow your local regulations for further instructions about how to dispose of used sensors.

It's a tape for better adhesion to your skin with sensor, preventing it from falling off easily.
The CKM sensor pack and sensor applicator are both for single-use purposes, and cannot be reused.
There are several possible reasons that may cause the sensor's early drop-out:
1. The wearing site is not completely cleaned or dried when applying the senor.
2. Excessive sweating.
3. Collision/scraping.
4. Unsmooth skin texture.
Here are several tips for securing a successful usage for 14 days:
1. Make sure the wearing site is completely cleaned and dried before applying the sensor
2. Avoid applying the sensor on areas with uneven skin texture, such as scars, moles, or bumps.
3. Use the sensor overpatch.
1. Confirm if the sensor is worn properly and within its usage period and shelf life.
2. Ensure the distance between the sensor and your Bluetooth-enabled cellphone is no more than 20ft apart.
3. Ensure you have turned on the GPS location, bluetoothe and camera permissions on your cellphone. Make sure you enabled and have enough storage space for the App.
4. Ensure your cellphone has a battery level above 20%. Some Android phones may not be able to connect if they are in low battery (less than 20% battery).
5. Check whether the sensor has been used for a full 14 days. After the 14-day sensor usage period, it is impossible to pair.
6. Ensure the SiBio APP is the latest version for sensor activation.
7. Check the mobile OS version: the app requires Android system 8.0 or above, or iOS system 13.6 or above.
If the above steps have been checked and you still couldn't connect the sensor to the app via Bluetooth, please contact our customer support team.
The SiBio CKM sensor has been tested and approved to be worn on the back of the upper arm for up to 14 days.
The IP28 waterproof rating means that the KS1 CKM can withstand being submerged in 3.3 feet deep water for up to 30 minutes, so it certainly can be worn during shower, swim and bathing (as long as the bath temperature does not exceed 104°F and the relative humidity stays below 90% humidity).
However, we do not recommend wearing your CKM sensor during activities such as hot saunas, snorkeling, surfing, and high-speed water sports, as high temperatures or rapid water flow can reduce the sensor adhesiveness, increasing the risk of sensor detachment.
After you scan the link code on CKM package to successfully pair the CKM sensor with the app, there is a 60-minute warm up period before you receive your first ketone level reading.
Moisturize the edge of the sensor tape with 70% alcohol or soapy water, pull up the edge of the adhesive tape, then slowly peel the tape off from your skin.
Please keep the sensor on if possible and contact our customer service for troubleshoot promptly if you have an issue.

3. LE (for CKM) number or connection code of the sensor (This is extremely important for replacement as we repalce 1 sensor for each code provided)
4. A photo of the application site to see if properly applied (where the sensor is worn on your arm)
5. A photo of the sensor to check the soft needle/probe/electrode status if already removed
6. A photo that showing the small hole on the sensor to see if improperly assembled
